E-Portfolio

The objective of this project is to understand what is thermal comfort, the factors relating to it thorough the research on the basic design strategies and to analyse the effect of thermal comfort factors in a person and in a space.

In group of 6, we had chosen a long single storey terrace house which have a very bad ventilation. We had identified the environmental conditions related to the site context and did the analysis of the house (air movement, solar radiation, temperature and relative humidity) in order  to achive thermal comfort. Besides, we had proposed some improvements to the roof insulation, type of window and landscape after identified the problems.
